What you'll do

• Provides make-versus-buy recommendations with tradeoffs based on complexity, financial impact, and time duration.
• Develops robust, scalable designs that account for industry threats and competitor products.
• Independently creates complex product drawings using modeling tools and guides other engineers.
• Reviews documentation to ensure appropriate test requirements are included in hardware designs.
• Implements project schedules and tracks performance against them, guiding team members on dependencies.
• Evaluates material reliability details of large production designs and identifies significant project risks.

What we're looking for

• Requires Doctorate or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years of related technical engineering experience.
• Develops and implements complex design solutions, writes internal device specifications, and creates robust verification plans.
• Conducts detailed testing and analysis to identify bugs and defects, using predictive modeling software and statistical methods.
• Manages project schedules, identifies risks, and communicates progress with stakeholders, including customers and partners.
• Provides guidance on advanced concepts, modeling tools, and configuration management practices for other engineers.
