Ideal candidates have a background in mechanical engineering and at least three years of relevant industry experience, along with strong communication skills to work effectively across diverse teams.

What you'll do

  • Drive detailed CAD design of electromechanical fixtures for Apple product repair.
  • Resolve design tradeoffs across mechanical, electrical, and thermal domains independently.
  • Engage with cross-functional partners to gather input and align on program goals.
  • Support vendor relationships through DFM development and prototype procurement.
  • Plan and execute DOEs to validate fixture performance and present findings.
  • Develop packaging solutions for worldwide distribution of repair tooling.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with at least 3 years of experience
  • Expertise in 3D CAD software like NX or SolidWorks for detailed design
  • Experience in electromechanical system design across development phases
  • Knowledge of design for manufacturability and various manufacturing processes
  • Ability to execute design of experiments (DOEs) and validate designs
  • Familiarity with global safety certification programs such as UL or CE
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
