As an L5 Machine Learning Scientist at Netflix Games’ AI initiative, you will lead the development of foundational ML building blocks by creating sophisticated embeddings and models that enhance audience insights and forecasting. Your role involves accelerating product development through the creation of tools and pipelines for DSE workflows across games, studios, and platforms while also serving as a key liaison with broader Netflix teams to tailor global capabilities for gaming. You will design scalable ML pipelines and establish technical standards for applying ML in game domains. This position requires a Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field, 5+ years of experience leading complex ML projects, and the ability to navigate large-scale organizations. Ideal candidates can quickly translate research into prototypes, bridge technical architecture with business objectives, and thrive in innovative environments where they define engineering standards. Experience with game development teams and MLOps practices is a plus, as are strong skills in Python, PyTorch, and LangChain.
