What you'll do
Lead design and analysis of experiments to inform decision-making in Social, Controller, and Cloud Gaming areas.
Develop ML models to enhance player experience and support new technology capabilities for gaming features.
Identify business opportunities through proactive data exploration and innovation initiatives.
Serve as a strategic advisor to product managers and engineers on data science aspects of product development.
Communicate research findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive business impact.
Manage ad hoc requests while advancing strategic projects in the Games DSE team.
What we're looking for
At least 5 years of experience with a PhD or 8+ years with a Master’s in Statistics, Computer Science, Econometrics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related quantitative field.
Proven expertise in statistical analysis and applied machine learning modeling (e.g., deep neural networks).
Strong background in A/B testing, observational data analysis, and statistical modeling.
Experience working closely with engineering teams as a Data Scientist for at least 2 years.
Proficiency in handling large datasets using SQL and other tools like Python or R.
Excellent business acumen and problem-solving skills to translate business requirements into data science solutions.
Exceptional communication abilities to influence decision-making across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
