About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Risk Analytics Consultant - Data Strategy & Architecture Lead to join IDeAS (Information Delivery and Analytics Solutions). IDeAS designs, delivers, and governs the One Risk Platform, enabling consistent, scalable reporting, risk oversight, and advanced analytics across the firm.
In this role, the Lead Risk Analytics Consultant - Data Strategy & Architecture Lead will serve as the primary business-side data and analytics architect, partnering closely with Technology teams and Risk stakeholders to design a curated dataset layer in Dremio. This role is responsible for translating end‑user BI, reporting, and data delivery requirements into clear, execution‑ready architectural and data specifications that enable performance, reuse, and governance.
*In this role, you will:*
- Act as the business architectural lead for curated datasets supporting reporting, BI, and downstream analytics use cases within the One Risk Platform
- Design curated datasets to maximize performance and reduce runtime logic complexity
- Make clear architectural recommendations regarding taxonomy, standards, and the use of Dremio reflections
- Act as the primary business-side architectural counterpart to the Technology execution team building Dremio models and pipelines
- Provide clear execution artifacts, including dataset specifications, mapping logic, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and performance targets
- Facilitate structured requirements sessions with Risk stakeholders and convert those requirements into implementation tasks
*Required Qualifications:*
- 5+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
*Desired Qualifications:*
- Strong understanding of Dremio, Power BI Fabric, ANSI SQL, and data architecture
- Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills
- Experience in collaborating with both technical and non-technical partners
- Experience in Capital Markets and Risk Management
- Familiarity with BI tools and related data needs
