Your responsibilities include translating high-level Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) into detailed electrical requirements and guiding PCB design and harnessing teams. Essential skills include expertise in communication protocols such as Ethernet, CAN, RS-485, SDI, GMSL, SPI, I2C, PCIe, and familiarity with embedded systems hardware like MCUs, CPUs, and FPGAs. Experience with full-cycle PCB design, harnessing design, and connector selection is required, along with a proven track record of delivering products to production at scale. This role demands strong communication skills and the ability to obtain or hold DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI access.

What you'll do

  • Lead the definition and development of robust, scalable electrical architectures for complex product lines.
  • Conduct architectural trades to balance performance, manufacturing feasibility, and future scalability.
  • Translate high-level CONOPS into detailed electrical requirements and functional modules.
  • Allocate functions to specific electrical modules and subsystems with defined constraints and interfaces.
  • Flow module and subsystem information to PCB design and harnessing teams.

What we're looking for

  • Proven ability to define long-term architectural vision for product lines.
  • Deep understanding of communication protocols and their application in complex embedded systems.
  • Experience with full-cycle PCB design, harnessing design, and connector selection.
  • Successful track record of releasing products to production at scale.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate across diverse engineering disciplines.
  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance or ability to obtain SCI access.
