As a Senior Software Engineer at our Platform Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture and reliability of core technology platforms across the business. Your responsibilities include designing and maintaining scalable software solutions, developing an internal authentication platform, and creating tools that leverage large language models to streamline code delivery and testing. You will collaborate closely with DevOps and Cloud teams to ensure best-in-class technologies are utilized throughout our stack. Key tasks involve contributing to engineering standards, automating deployment pipelines, and championing SRE and DevOps practices such as observability and CI/CD across cloud and on-premises environments. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in Python or another object-oriented language, familiarity with Kubernetes and distributed systems, and a strong background in configuration management tools like Terraform. This role demands expertise in designing robust solutions architecture and excellent communication skills to document complex ideas effectively.

What you'll do

Architect and maintain scalable, reliable software and platform solutions across the business.
Develop and enhance internal authentication and developer platforms for scalability and resilience.
Create tools using LLMs, code generation, and intelligent agents to streamline development processes.
Establish engineering standards and frameworks to standardize technology solutions company-wide.
Design automated deployment pipelines and operational processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
Advocate for SRE and DevOps best practices in cloud and on-premises environments.
Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to ensure production system stability.

What we're looking for

10+ years of hands-on experience architecting and delivering production-ready software.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent technical experience.
Proficiency in Python and another object-oriented programming language like C#, Java, GoLang.
Experience with containers, Kubernetes, REST & gRPC services, and distributed systems.
Expertise in configuration/infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
Strong communication skills for documenting complex technical solutions clearly.
