Information Security Analyst II

What you'll do

• Monitors complex systems for known and emerging security threats using intrusion detection software.
• Conducts comprehensive investigations into security issues by analyzing log data from various sources.
• Designs and configures security systems, including proxy servers, remote access solutions, and firewalls.
• Assesses risks based on changes to ISO standards and enhances knowledge of PCI guidelines.
• Participates in creating cost-effective Information Security solutions for system/application development.
• Enhances knowledge of new threats by analyzing third-party software/solutions and IT configuration changes.
• Manages and develops an emerging threat model to assess and disseminate enterprise-related vulnerabilities.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in network operations, engineering, or system administration.
• Experience with Unix, Linux, MAC, Windows systems and common security operations.
• Knowledge of intrusion detection systems, SIEMs, penetration testing, web application assessment.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GSEC preferred.
• Understanding of industry standard security compliance programs like PCI, SOX, GLBA.
• Ability to identify, communicate, and mitigate risks in technical solution designs.
