Harness Design Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and fabricate harness systems to meet technical requirements.
• Select appropriate connectors, contacts, and cable construction for environmental compliance.
• Develop block diagrams and wire diagrams for production release.
• Prepare assembly instructions and test procedures using industry standards.
• Provide guidance on electrical system requirements to internal stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing electrical harnesses for rugged applications.
• Experience working directly with harness manufacturers to ensure high quality and reliability.
• Familiarity with common electrical bus interfaces such as CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, and MIL-STD requirements.
• Ability to apply knowledge of SWaP (size, weight, power) for system designs.
• Eligible to receive a US Security Clearance.
