About the Accenture Google Cloud Business Group (AGBG)
We are the Accenture Google Business Group (AGBG), a team of innovators and builders changing the world with the most advanced cloud-native solutions on the planet. As part of Accenture’s $3B investment in Cloud First, we deliver the promise of technology and human ingenuity, helping our clients navigate their most significant transformations. If you are passionate about solving exciting problems and shaping the future of technology, we would love to talk with you.
You Are
As an Associate Director Cloud Functional Lead within Accenture Cloud First, you own the functional Supply Chain leadership of complex, enterprise‑wide cloud transformation programs powered by Google Cloud. We are seeking a visionary functional leader to architect the future of our Global Supply Chain using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
The Work
In this role, you will move beyond traditional analytics to build an Agentic Supply Chain—one where AI doesn’t just predict disruptions but autonomously acts to mitigate them.
You will bridge the gap between supply chain business process owners and GCP engineering teams, leveraging the Google Cloud Cortex Framework, BigQuery, and Vertex AI to unify data, deploy GenAI agents, and drive autonomous decision-making across planning, logistics, and fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Transformation
- Define the roadmap for the "Autonomous Supply Chain," transitioning from reactive dashboards to proactive, agent-based workflows.
- Act as the primary translator between Supply Chain Operations (Planning, Source, Make, Deliver) and the Cloud Engineering/Data Science teams.
- Identify high-value use cases for GenAI and Agentic AI (e.g., autonomous procurement negotiation, self-correcting inventory balancing, predictive maintenance).
Data Foundation (GCP Cortex & BigQuery)
- Lead the functional adoption of the Google Cloud Cortex Framework to accelerate data integration from ERPs (SAP, Oracle) into BigQuery.
- Champion a "Data Mesh" architecture where supply chain domains own their data products, ensuring real-time visibility and governance.
- Oversee the harmonization of external signals (weather, geopolitical risk, supplier financial health) into the enterprise data foundation.
Agentic AI & GenAI Implementation
- Design and deploy Vertex AI Agents responsible for specific functional tasks (e.g., a "Logistics Agent" that re-routes shipments based on port congestion data without human intervention).
- Implement Multi-Agent Systems where different AI agents (Inventory Agent, Sales Agent, Procurement Agent) collaborate to optimize trade-offs between service levels and cost.
- Leverage Gemini models to create conversational interfaces, allowing non-technical supply chain planners to query data using natural language (e.g., "Show me the impact of the Rotterdam strike on Q3 inventory").
Process Innovation
- Redesign core S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) processes to include AI-driven scenario planning and "self-healing" supply chain capabilities.
- Drive the "Human-in-the-loop" strategy, defining thresholds for where AI Agents act autonomously vs. where they require human approval.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary liaison between business units and technical teams. Conduct workshops and presentations to gather requirements and provide solution updates.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to organizational cloud governance frameworks, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Qualification
Here's what you need
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
- Minimum of 15 years in Supply Chain Management (Planning, Logistics, or Procurement) with at least 3-5 years in a Digital Transformation or Data Strategy role.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience and deep functional understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) capabilities, specifically BigQuery, Vertex AI, and Looker.
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience implementing Agentic AI or GenAI workflows (beyond simple chatbots—focus on action-oriented agents).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience and strong knowledge of ERP data structures (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle EBS) and how they integrate into cloud data lakes.
Professional Skills Requirement
- Familiarity with the Google Cloud Cortex Framework (Templates, accelerators for SAP/Oracle).
- Understanding of LLMs (Large Language Models), RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and Agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain on Vertex AI).
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to C-level operational stakeholders.
- Change Management: Ability to drive adoption of AI tools among traditional supply chain planners and buyers.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to balance immediate operational wins with long-term autonomous vision.
