General Manager I, Transportation Management

What you'll do

• Manages financial aspects by approving expenses, tracking budgets, and preparing business reports.
• Drives execution of business plans by identifying needs, developing priorities, and measuring performance.
• Oversees emergency responses by collaborating with transportation centers to manage freight during crises.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates through training and evaluations.
• Resolves escalated concerns by assessing facts and overseeing solutions for drivers, customers, and suppliers.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and promotes ethical standards throughout the workplace.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or related field required.
• 3 years’ supervisory experience in senior management within operations, distribution, supply chain, or retail environment needed.
• Experience managing financial aspects including budgets, profit and loss, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to lead change initiatives and manage multiple business types within a warehouse or supply chain network.
• Project Management certification preferred for strategic planning and execution.
