Executive Director, Bank Data Governance and Management

What you'll do

• Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy to ensure data quality and regulatory compliance.
• Lead the establishment of governance frameworks that enable trusted and controlled data usage across the organization.
• Oversee end-to-end information management processes for analytics and delivery, ensuring high-quality data access.
• Drive innovation by developing new techniques and best practices in reporting and analytics.
• Provide thought leadership to advance talent development within the USAA Data and Analytics Community.
• Ensure compliance with financial services regulatory requirements in data governance strategies.

What we're looking for

• 10 years of data and analytics experience in complex financial services organizations.
• Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and develop talent within the organization.
• Deep understanding of risk management and compliance practices in regulated environments.
• Experience leading projects using Agile methodologies and conducting large-scale data analysis.
• Expertise in connecting data/metrics to business metrics/results and communicating effectively with senior leadership.
• Demonstrated success in delivering measurable business value through data governance strategies.
• Knowledge of financial services regulatory landscape and ability to engage with regulators and auditors.
