What you'll do

• Identify and trial new security tools for software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Code solutions to engineering challenges in Python and SQL.
• Advocate and consult on security best practices with other engineers.
• Maintain security data products like SBOM, asset inventory, and SIEM systems.
• Monitor and escalate cyber security threats, documenting security events.
• Conduct security assessments using various methods and report findings.
• Provide support and training for teams to remediate identified issues.

What we're looking for

• Proven work experience as a Security Analyst or Engineer.
• Expertise in programming languages like Python, SQL, Java, Go.
• Proficiency with AWS security tools including Security Hub and IAM.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment, threat modeling, OWASP Top 10 principles.
• Experience in secure development best practices and continuous integration.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with significant impact.
• Passionate about sharing knowledge and mentoring teammates.
