As Engineering Team Lead for Product Security, you will lead and manage Rockwell Automation’s Product Software Security team, responsible for security architecture, compliance, and product hardening across the ACS portfolio. This role combines people leadership with technical expertise to ensure secure and compliant products through hands-on guidance on complex challenges while fostering a collaborative environment. You will work closely with various teams like product, quality, and DevSecOps to embed security into the full lifecycle of software development. Key responsibilities include leading threat modeling exercises, contributing to security standards, coaching team members, and guiding architectural decisions related to secure design and compliance. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of software development experience, direct leadership in cloud software development, and a strong understanding of security practices, tools, and frameworks such as static code analysis and threat modeling. Experience within the Industrial Automation domain is highly valued.
