What you'll do

Troubleshoot and solve complex engineering problems in propulsion plant systems.
Develop and maintain test procedures, operating manuals, and technical documentation.
Interface with various stakeholders including vendors, Navy representatives, and contractors.
Resolve cleanliness issues and approve reactor plant and steam plant cleanliness standards.
Lead the development of test gear drawings and ensure their maintenance and accuracy.
Support construction surveillance for fluid systems during submarine assembly processes.
Coordinate and execute New Construction Nuclear Construction and Repair (NCR) notices.

What we're looking for

Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, Marine, Civil, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
5-9 years of relevant engineering experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with fluid systems and components
Familiarity with TeamCenter/NX IPDE tool
Reactor Plant Cleanliness qualification preferred
Steam Plant Cleanliness qualification preferred
