As a Developer Relations Engineer at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., you will join the Edge AI team to enhance developer experiences on Snapdragon and Dragonwing platforms by developing comprehensive sample applications that utilize Snapdragon AI APIs and optimized libraries. Your daily tasks include collaborating with internal teams and external developers to gather feedback and requirements for feature enhancements in SDKs, tools, and documentation. You will work closely with product engineers, managers, customer engineers, OEMs, OS partners, and application developers under the guidance of the Developer Relations Engineering Lead. The ideal candidate has experience building end-to-end applications using AI/ML tools on Linux and Windows across CPU, GPU, and AI accelerators. Proficiency in Python and C++, along with familiarity with TensorFlow or PyTorch, is essential, as is a background in computer vision, audio processing, and NLP techniques.

What you'll do
Develop comprehensive sample applications for "Edge AI" on Snapdragon & Dragonwing platforms.
Ensure sample applications cover diverse models and use-cases with optimized libraries beyond core AI functions.
Interface with third-party developers to create user-friendly documentation and sample applications.
Contribute new features and designs to the Qualcomm AI toolkit to enhance developer workflow experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and requirements from the developer ecosystem.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering required.
1-4+ years of experience in application development across multiple platforms.
Proficiency in Python and C++ programming languages.
Experience developing end-to-end applications on Windows and Linux systems.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch preferred.
Knowledge of CPU, GPU, and AI accelerator architectures beneficial.
