This role involves building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, managing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, standardizing deployments across teams using GitLab or Bitbucket, and implementing robust monitoring and security practices. The Engineer Lead will collaborate closely with developers to automate releases and reduce lead times, own the change request process, and coordinate on-call support. Ideal candidates have 7+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering, extensive hands-on AWS and Terraform expertise, and proven ownership of CI/CD pipelines for multiple services. Proficiency in EKS production environments, policy as code, and cloud governance practices is preferred, with a focus on delivering scalable and secure solutions within the enterprise context.
Own and enhance AWS cloud infrastructure for reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines including build, test, security checks, and deployment processes.
Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to ensure state management and module consistency.
Standardize deployments across teams through GitLab CI or Bitbucket Pipelines configurations.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices for system stability.
Improve security posture by managing least privilege IAM and secrets in code.
What we're looking for
5+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering.
Expert level hands-on AWS and Terraform experience in production environments.
Proven ownership of CI/CD pipelines for multiple services and environments.
Experience with EKS, Helm, Argo CD/Flux preferred but not required.
Knowledge of policy as code (OPA, Sentinel) and cloud governance practices.
Background in FinOps and cost optimization for cloud infrastructure.
