What you'll do
Implement and improve cybersecurity solutions for CarMax’s information systems.
Develop security-related processes and procedures to enhance overall security posture.
Triage support problems with appropriate urgency and provide after-hours support as needed.
Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to ensure continuous system protection.
Interface with application, infrastructure, and network operations teams for security initiatives.
Provide metrics, status reports, and audit results to key stakeholders regularly.
What we're looking for
1-5 years of experience in information security operations
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field
Expertise in network security technologies including firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems
Proficiency with at least one coding/scripting language (PowerShell, Python, Java)
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills under pressure
