What you'll do

Assist in repairing and testing electrical systems using schematic diagrams.
Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble standard electric motors as assigned.
Test, troubleshoot, and repair emergency lighting battery packs and various lighting types.
Lubricate bearings on all types of electric motors and adjust/replace belts on pulleys.
Perform routine maintenance on simple switches, sockets, and outlets up to 260 volts.

What we're looking for

Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent technical training.
At least 1 year of experience in the electrical field for Electrician C position.
Specific knowledge of nuclear standards and policies for Electrician B and A positions.
Successful completion of Plant Maintenance Selection System (MASS) test required.
Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems.
Compliance with ANSI Standards, NE Codes, ASME, and NEMA requirements.
