As the Director of Engineering for Walmart’s Agent AI Platform, you will lead a high-performing team in developing and scaling core AI technologies that power conversational agents like Sparky. Your daily responsibilities include designing distributed systems supporting large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), knowledge bases, and real-time AI inference, while ensuring the platform’s reliability and security.
