Director Oncology Data Science LMW

What you'll do

• Lead and develop a global team of data scientists specializing in LMW drug development.
• Co-develop and execute a data science strategy to enhance innovation in the LMW drug development space.
• Collaborate with Oncology Drug Development teams to embed data science effectively in drug development processes.
• Interface regularly with Oncology Disease Area leaders to align priorities and deploy resources efficiently.
• Ensure adherence to data standards, governance, and best practices across analytics research within the team.

What we're looking for

• Ph.D. in data science, computational biology or related fields with 10+ years of experience in oncology drug development.
• Proven leadership and management skills with at least 5 years of people management experience in data science.
• Strong expertise in quantitative and computational biology approaches, AI/ML techniques, and statistical modeling.
• Deep understanding of biology, oncology, and low molecular weight (LMW) drug development processes.
• Experience with quality control and analysis for common assays like RNA-seq, scRNA-seq, ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, Hi-C.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
