The Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Product Success Engineering team is seeking a Director of Data Science & Engineering to build the data foundation, KPI frameworks, and predictive intelligence that drive product adoption and customer health. The director will lead a multidisciplinary team of 20+ Data Scientists, Analytics Engineers, and Platform Engineers to architect scalable data systems, develop predictive models, and enable data-driven decision-making across AEP’s portfolio. Key responsibilities include defining the data science strategy, building a unified data foundation, leading team growth, and enabling advanced analytics capabilities such as customer health models and KPI frameworks. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in data science, ML, and people leadership roles, with deep technical proficiency in ETL/ELT, cloud data warehouses, dbt, Airflow, SQL, Python, BI tools, and data governance. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of customer success intelligence at Adobe by driving impact on product adoption and value realization across AEP’s ecosystem.

What you'll do

  • Define and deliver data science, analytics, and platform strategy for Adobe's AEP.
  • Build a unified data foundation and governance model across diverse sources.
  • Lead development of predictive models for customer health, adoption forecasting.
  • Enable scalable BI, ML, experimentation, and self-service analytics capabilities.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or data engineering.
  • 5+ years of hands-on expertise in predictive modeling and statistical methods.
  • Proven track record of building data foundations and teams from scratch.
  • Deep technical proficiency across modern data stack technologies.
  • Experience architecting large-scale cloud-native data platforms and pipelines.
  • Strong background in B2B SaaS metrics, product analytics, and high-growth environments.
  • Demonstrated success in hiring and leading multidisciplinary data teams.
