About this role
Aladdin Data platforms and services are designed to deliver industry leading investment data and risk analytics content to the Aladdin community, including BlackRock as the largest client. The primary users include investors, risk managers, compliance officials, investment operations and technology teams for broader organization applications. Our Data Implementationsteam of data implementationspecialists covers end-to-end Aladdin data flows from vendor and client inputdata sets to security, portfolio, benchmark, and financial analytics output data for new and expanding Aladdin clients.The team works directly with clients and Aladdin Client Transformation specialists to understand client dependencies, business objectives and custom use cases to ensure Aladdin’s data and analytics are effectively enhanced,deployed, and adopted across each function and organization. The team also leads the configuration of Aladdin Risk and Analytics environments, critical client file loaders and risk and performance benchmark configuration.
Our clients cover global, multi-asset managers or ownersallocating across fixed income, equity, private markets, and derivatives. The team provides the data specialities across asset classes and data domains for the successful whole-portfolio modelling. Successful Aladdin data implementation specialists develop and excel in many cross-functional skills including client communication, project management, business analysis as well as hands-on data analysis and technology system configuration. Role Description:
This role is a hybrid hands-on implementation and AI transformation position. The team is looking for a senior leader within the team to help manage our growing volume of new clients, including leading several data implementation specialists in the performance of their responsibilities. Thesuccessful candidate will directly be responsible for multiple projects, across all data domains and capabilities.In parallel, they will be redesigning how implementations are executed using Agentic AI and LLM-enabled workflows. This role blends execution
credibility, systems thinking, and measurable change delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Hands-On Implementation Delivery

Deliver end-to-end client implementation projects, including requirements analysis, data onboarding, configuration, validation, and reconciliation.

Operate existing tools, playbooks, and controls firsthand to understand delivery constraints and risks.

Build credibility with clients and delivery teams through direct ownership of outcomes.
AI-Driven Implementation Transformation

Identify manual, repetitive, or high-friction activities across the implementation lifecycle.

Design, prototype, and apply Agentic AI and LLM-driven workflows to reduce effort, cycle time, and rework.

Focus on direct execution, solution building, and rapid adoption within active delivery teams.

Partner with transformation and engineering teams to industrialize successful AI patterns into the standard operating model.
Productivity, Scale, and Adoption

Establish baseline delivery metrics and track improvements enabled by AI (e.g., cycle time, throughput, error reduction).

Drive measurable productivity outcomes with a target of achieving step-change (2×) efficiency while maintaining quality and control.

Enable adoption through documentation, demonstrations, coaching, and influence.
Qualifications and skillsets:
We are looking for quick learners, independent thinkers with new perspectives to challenge the way we operate and help prototype new solutions we can ultimately deploy to a standard implementation playbook. Individuals with strong technical and analytical interests would find leading and transforming the Aladdin Data Implementation practice incredibly challenging and rewarding in supporting their career development.
Requirements:

A Bachelor’s Degree is required, with preference to computer science or engineeringmajors.

8+ years of experience either as an investment/data technology implementation specialist or with direct relevant user, development, service, oroperationexperiences.

Familiarity with investment data and analytics is required; Private markets or derivative specialities is a plus.

Demonstrated hands-on experience applying Agentic AI or LLM-based tools to automate or augment business processes, or equivalent formal training.

Track record of initiating projects that enhance business workflow and improve client experiences.

Strong track record of successfully handling and completing large and complex projects. Critical thinking and demonstratable experience using technology to solve problems at scale.

Shown ability to work well independently or as part of a team in an innovative, ambitious, and fast-paced environment, run multiple tasks, adapt to change, and work well under tight time restraints.

Comfortable working with clients and partners at all levels of the business including leading senior Steercos.

Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience with Python and SQL preferred

For Wilmington, DE Only the salary range for this position is USD$170,000.00 - USD$225,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
