The Oracle DevOps team is seeking an experienced Oracle Application Engineer and Project Manager to be part of the ITO and Services Oracle DevOps team
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the analysis, requirement gathering, design, documentation, implementation and maintenance of Oracle ITO (OM) & Services modules (Depot Repair, EAM).
- Identify, scope, and lead business/site readiness projects to prepare new sites for the oracle implementation.
- Gaining deep understanding of all the integrations with legacy tools or cloud tools interconnected with Oracle following the best practices for new implementations
- Leading initiatives followings implementation by Tollgates, planning activities and tracking the progress ensure on time and on budget deliveries
- Maintaining tight linkages with business users and peers to maximize the benefits and knowledge sharing.
- Delivering quality improvements and root-cause analysis for ERP related complex business problems and work closely with global distributed partners facilitating issue resolutions and effective services delivery across domains
- Proactively identifies and removes obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team, manage ambiguity, adapt quickly to conflicting & changing priorities.
- Guide vendors during system design and ensure compliance to specifications and standards.
- Ensure rigor and adherence to our standards in terms of HPA and security and SOX compliance requirements.
- Basic knowledge with PL/SQL, Oracle WF is also required to guide the team on the correct solution implementation
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or “STEM” majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
- Have at least 6 years of Oracle EBS Applications development, maintenance and development supervision, special focus on OM and Service modules
- Experience in IT project management and execution in global companies or large consulting firm
- Have functional domain expertise in Oracle ITO & Service modules (OM, Depot Repair, EAM)
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Desired Characteristics:
- Have demonstrated planning and organization skills
- Have Project management skills and contractors’ supervision experience
- Have process improvement experience
- Have experience with Baker Hughes processes, methodologies and reporting methods
- Have great oral and written communication skills
- Be a proactive and responsible individual, able to set own action plans, ability to influence and build consensus with other DT teams and leadership
