Join our DevInfra team as a Software Engineer, where you will work on high-stakes defense programs by building and maintaining backend services, pipelines, and infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with senior engineers to develop critical tools that enable other software engineers to scale their output efficiently. Your day-to-day responsibilities include writing Go or Python services, setting up AWS infrastructure using Terraform, integrating systems into CI/CD workflows, and troubleshooting issues in production environments. Ideal candidates have experience with cloud platforms like AWS, CI/CD tools, and a variety of programming languages such as Rust, Go, C++, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript. Familiarity with NixOS, Terraform, monitoring and logging tools, and container technologies is beneficial. This role requires a U.S. Person status due to access to export-controlled information.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain backend services, pipelines, and tooling for a high-stakes defense program.
  • Write Go/Python services, set up AWS infrastructure with Terraform, and integrate them into CI systems.
  • Debug production issues in backend services and ensure reliable operation of critical software components.
  • Enable other engineers to scale their output by developing platform and infrastructure tooling.
  • Continuously learn new layers of technology and contribute to rapid delivery and iteration cycles.
