Role Details

Contribute to the design, development, implementation, and testing of data science techniques to enhance and expand detection systems. Apply big-data methods to ensure scalability and performance. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand gaps and requirements and effectively translate from business problem to technical approach. Communicate technical concepts to a variety of audiences to enable shared understanding. Develop and maintain detailed documentation for models and features to support debugging, troubleshooting, and long-term code maintenance. Maintain awareness of trends in cybersecurity and insider risk detection strategies to identify opportunities to apply novel methodologies, share knowledge and contribute to technical discussions, and participate in internal/external conferences. Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field OR Master's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results) or consulting experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 2+ years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results) OR equivalent experience These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
