As a Data Relationship Manager (DRM) in our IT organization, you will serve as the primary liaison between the business partners and the technical teams, focusing on understanding data needs and translating them into actionable solutions. You will work closely with business leaders to define strategic data goals and priorities, ensuring alignment across departments through effective communication and collaboration. Your day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing the creation of technical specifications for data initiatives, verifying compliance with governance standards, and facilitating communication between domain experts and development teams. This role requires expertise in SQL, AWS Redshift, and BI platforms like Tableau, as well as experience in Agile methodologies and Atlassian tools. You will contribute to our Actionable Data Insights (ADI) program, which aims to build an enterprise data model that supports key business processes and KPIs at scale.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key ADI stakeholders to understand their data needs.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable data solutions, ensuring alignment with yearly roadmap.
  • Oversee creation of technical specs for functional requirements, translating them into development-ready user stories.
  • Design tables per best practice based on business domain needs, providing technical design recommendations.
  • Serve as communications conduit between business experts and IT teams on key data projects.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, technical field such as Information Systems or Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of experience in business-facing data roles like Corporate Strategy or Data Operations.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data validation and troubleshooting support.
  • Experience with AWS architecture including Redshift and S3.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise-scale data modeling and BI platforms like Tableau.
  • Proven ability to manage high-profile, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks and Atlassian applications (Jira and Confluence).
