Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with AI tools and a strong background in hardware engineering or related fields, enabling them to drive critical decisions in battery research and development.

What you'll do

Design and maintain production data pipelines for BDW, integrating structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
Build relationships with source-system owners to unlock new integrations and enforce pipeline SLAs.
Engineer BARD, the natural language interface to BDW, including agentic stack design and user experience.
Apply AI to workflow and battery organization problems, focusing on context engineering and evals.
Deliver data analyses that drive critical decisions in battery research, development, and qualification.

What we're looking for

BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
Experience building production data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
Proficiency in Python and SQL
Strong database fundamentals including schema design and indexing
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and orchestration tools
Deep understanding of AI applications and limitations
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
