As a senior data engineer joining our team, you will play a crucial role in helping clients solve complex problems through data analysis, from fraud detection to medical research. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and maintaining large-scale data science applications, developing scalable ETL workflows for analytics, and creating software that retrieves and processes structured and unstructured data. You should have extensive experience with Python and SQL, as well as familiarity with public clouds like AWS or Azure, distributed computing tools such as Spark and Hadoop, and NoSQL databases including Elasticsearch and MongoDB. This role requires a Secret clearance and the ability to lead projects within a collaborative environment, addressing significant business challenges at an enterprise level.
