Join our dynamic team as a Cyber Systems Security Engineer at either Level 2 or Level 3, where you will work closely with an integrated product team to architect and implement cybersecurity solutions for complex space systems, including satellite communications and ground command & control systems. Your daily tasks will involve managing system security engineering requirements, conducting attack surface analysis, preparing documentation such as SSPs and RARs, and implementing COTS security products like firewalls and SIEM tools. You’ll also support the design of hardened space vehicle components and assist in static code analysis triage within an Agile environment. Essential skills include experience with RMF processes, DISA HBSS/ESS solutions, and platform hardening practices such as STIG implementation. This role requires a Top Secret security clearance and US citizenship, offering opportunities to work on cutting-edge national security projects.

What you'll do

Architect and implement RMF CyberSecurity requirements for satellite systems.
Manage system security engineering requirements across multiple segments.
Perform Attack Surface Analysis and prepare Systems Security Plan documentation.
Implement COTS security products within terrestrial systems.
Support design and implementation of space vehicle hardening for embedded processors.
Execute assessment procedures to verify compliance with cybersecurity controls.

What we're looking for

Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI required at time of application
Minimum 2 years of Cyber/SSE experience, preferably within defense aerospace industry
Experience implementing RMF process from system categorization through continuous monitoring
Hands-on experience with DISA STIG implementation and documentation of deviations/mitigations
Experience scanning, remediating, mitigating, and reporting cybersecurity vulnerabilities using audit reduction tools
BS degree in engineering (Electrical or Software Engineering preferred) with relevant years of experience
