Join our SPRINT Next program team as a Cyber Security Analyst / SIEM Engineer in San Antonio, Texas. In this senior-level role, you will lead and administer the enterprise SIEM environment, ensuring compliance with DoD and Intelligence Community security frameworks. Your daily tasks include developing security dashboards using Splunk, conducting vulnerability assessments with ACAS/Nessus, and supporting A&A activities. You must have extensive experience in cybersecurity engineering, including RMF processes and UNIX/Linux command-line audits, and be proficient in Splunk, ACAS/Nessus, and SCAP Compliance Checker. CISSP certification is preferred, as well as familiarity with additional SIEM platforms like IBM QRadar or Microsoft Sentinel. This role demands a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility.

What you'll do

Develop and maintain security dashboards using Splunk to meet NIST and JSIG cybersecurity control requirements.
Conduct vulnerability assessments using ACAS/Nessus and SCAP Compliance Checker for continuous monitoring and system validation.
Lead Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities, including Body of Evidence development and RMF processes.
Ensure compliance with DoD and Intelligence Community security frameworks in the SIEM environment.
Perform UNIX/LINUX command-line security audits to enhance system integrity and security.

What we're looking for

8+ years of hands-on Information Assurance and cybersecurity engineering experience.
Proven expertise as a Splunk Administrator and Dashboard Developer for NIST and JSIG compliance.
Hands-on proficiency with ACAS/Nessus, SCAP Compliance Checker, and RMF processes.
Strong working knowledge of UNIX/LINUX and Windows operating systems.
CISSP certification strongly preferred; must meet DoD 8570.1/8140 IAM Level II or IAT Level III requirements.
