What you'll do

  • Ensure aircraft designs are integrated across all disciplines throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Implement and maintain robust configuration and change management practices for assigned sections.
  • Support Design for Manufacturing goals, including part standardization and reduction.
  • Develop and maintain automation tools using Visual Basic, PowerBI, and SQL.
  • Oversee release of engineering documentation to ensure compliance with criteria.
  • Serve as primary interface with PLM organization for application development and reporting.
  • Conduct risk analysis and determine review-cycle criteria satisfaction for designated sections.

What we're looking for

  • At least 10 years of experience in aircraft design or related technical disciplines.
  • Proficient in CATIA V5 and experience with Siemens Teamcenter desired.
  • Expertise in Configuration and Change Management methodologies required.
  • Develop automation, tools, and reporting solutions using Visual Basic, PowerBI, and SQL.
  • Coordinate integration of airframe and system installations; manage installation design within primary aircraft sections.
  • Conduct risk analysis for outstanding tasks and ensure compliance with engineering release criteria.
