Ideal candidates will also possess knowledge of SolarWinds development and Active Directory administration, as well as PowerShell scripting skills.

What you'll do

  • Develop and configure SolarWinds and ServiceNow ticketing systems with monitoring enhancements.
  • Resolve technical issues related to computer hardware, software, networks, and telecommunications.
  • Provide support and direction to the team on daily activities and project tasks.
  • Engage directly with classified organizational management and program managers for IT projects.
  • Document problem resolutions in a knowledge database to assist other Service Desk personnel.
  • Perform analysis of problems and assist with corrective actions to restore functionality.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years or Master's degree with 1 year of relevant IT experience
  • Possess DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II (Security+, etc) or higher
  • Experience with ServiceNow and Jira ticketing systems for creating, processing, and tracking tickets
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems and remote deployment methods
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance and Special Access Program approval
  • Self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
