What you'll do

  • Measure and monitor production services for availability, capacity, and overall system health.
  • Shape software pre-launch through design consulting, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
  • Scale systems by implementing changes that enhance capacity and reliability.
  • Practice sustainable incident management in a blameless postmortem culture.
  • Define and maintain Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Objectives (SLOs) for service reliability.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, Perl, and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with automated testing, SDLC concepts, and Linux environment development.
  • Knowledge of observability stacks including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and managed services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Understanding of SRE terminologies like Error Budgeting and ability to balance feature velocity.
