As a Cloud Governance Specialist at Wise, you will join the Cloud Foundations team to lead and maintain the company’s cloud governance policies in a multi-cloud environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks like ISO27001 and PCI-DSS. Your daily tasks include defining governance KPIs, collaborating with platform engineering teams to prioritize work based on risk appetite, and providing transparent reporting to senior management. You will also evaluate existing controls, identify gaps, and recommend improvements while supporting sustainability initiatives by tracking carbon emissions within the cloud infrastructure. Ideal candidates have experience in managing cloud governance models in regulated industries, knowledge of secure DevOps practices, and strong communication skills for all levels of stakeholders. Familiarity with AWS and other major cloud providers is essential, along with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently while fostering cross-functional relationships.
Maintain and contribute to Cloud Governance policies and their KPIs.
Ensure compliance of cloud platforms with regulatory frameworks like ISO27001 and PCI-DSS.
Evaluate existing controls, identify gaps, and recommend improvements for risk mitigation.
Provide transparent reporting on the overall risk position of the cloud platform.
Support implementation of effective controls in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
