What you'll do
- Design motherboards and add-in cards for AI SoC/SIP under supervision.
- Develop rack-level systems including chassis, backplane, cabling, and thermal management.
- Qualify PMICs, VRMs, flash memory, and connectors for complex card designs.
- Troubleshoot high-speed interfaces like PCIe Gen5/6 and 200 GbE issues.
- Collaborate with ODMs on rack-level design and manufacturing reviews.
What we're looking for
- Proven rack-level system integration expertise including chassis, backplane, cabling, airflow, and thermal management.
- Deep knowledge in PCIe card/module design, high-speed interfaces (PCIe Gen5/6, LPDDR4x/5x), and signal integrity analysis.
- Experience qualifying PMICs, VRMs, flash memory, connectors for complex rack-level designs.
- Hands-on experience with dense PCB designs (8–20+ layers) and debugging in high-performance systems.
- Proficient in schematic capture tools (Cadence Allegro, Mentor Expedition) and circuit simulation software (SPICE).
- Strong collaboration skills with ODMs on joint design reviews and compliance to Qualcomm guidelines.
