What you'll do

• Design and implement complex AI workflows using LangGraph to enable autonomous agent behavior.
• Develop robust state management systems for long-running agent conversations in a "human-in-the-loop" environment.
• Create custom orchestration layers where specialized agents collaborate through defined graph edges and conditional logic.
• Contribute core features to Qualcomm’s internal Python AI SDK, simplifying LLM consumption across teams.
• Write high-performance asynchronous Python code using asyncio for concurrent agent execution and token streaming.
• Design API microservices with FastAPI to expose agent workflows, ensuring strict typing and validation.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python with deep understanding of AsyncIO, Pydantic, decorators, and metaprogramming.
• Proven hands-on experience building applications with LangChain and LangGraph.
• Solid understanding of LLM mechanics including context windows, tokenization, and temperature.
• Experience architecting distributed systems, microservices, and handling state in stateless environments.
• Mastery of AI fundamentals such as embedding models and vector stores.
