What you'll do

• Develops and implements automated testing methods for complex electromechanical assemblies.
• Designs and deploys hardware and software using scripting languages to enable automated testing.
• Creates detailed test procedures, fixtures, and equipment for new products in development.
• Evaluates design reviews and cross-functional teams to provide feedback on manufacturability and testability.
• Plans labor, schedules, and equipment required for efficient automated test operations.
• Troubleshoots issues with innovative thinking and structured problem-solving techniques.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of experience in product testing or related engineering field.
• Strong understanding of equipment functionality and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to design test fixtures, develop diagnostic programs, and create detailed test procedures.
• Experience with scripting languages for automated testing (Python, Lam’s proprietary language).
• Proficient in reading system-level interconnect diagrams, P&ID diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Expertise in assessing risks and developing mitigation plans for new product tests.
• Strong background in lean manufacturing principles and cycle time optimization.
