Role Summary

The Vice President, BI Platform & Analytics Enablement is responsible for supporting enterprise BI platforms, with an initial focus on the migration of Tableau from on‑premise Server to Tableau Cloud. This role ensures a secure, scalable, and governed analytics environment aligned with enterprise architecture standards and supports self‑service analytics across the firm.

In the near term, the role serves as the accountable leader for the Tableau Cloud migration, partnering closely with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and Analytics teams. Over the longer term, the role owns the ongoing operation, optimization, and evolution of Tableau and other BI tools as approved enterprise BI platforms..

Key Responsibilities

Immediate / Near‑Term Priorities (Tableau Cloud Migration)

  • Lead the end‑to‑end migration of Tableau from on‑premise Server to Tableau Cloud, including planning, execution, and stabilization.
  • Partner with Client 360, Business Stakeholders, Enterprise Analytics/Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and Risk teams to ensure alignment with BI standards and governance.
  • Support migration waves, assess inventory, identify workloads, and manage risks and dependencies.
  • Ensure continuity of service for existing Tableau users and mission‑critical dashboards.
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for Tableau Cloud readiness and issue resolution.

Ongoing / Strategic Responsibilities (Post‑Migration)

  • Own the enterprise Tableau platform, rationalization of BI tools and alignment with broader analytics initiatives.
  • Enable scalable self‑service analytics while maintaining strong governance controls.
  • Drive best practices for dashboard design, data preparation, and usage optimization.
  • Monitor platform usage, performance, and cost efficiency, recommending optimizations as needed.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Serve as a senior leader within the organization.
  • Act as a trusted partner to business and technology stakeholders.
  • Influence across teams without direct authority to deliver enterprise outcomes.
  • Mentor Tableau developers, administrators, and analytics practitioners.

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in data, analytics, or business intelligence platforms with deep Tableau expertise.
  • Experience leading or supporting large‑scale BI platform or cloud migrations.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise BI architecture, governance, and security.
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels in complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong communication skills with senior business and technology leaders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands‑on experience with Tableau Cloud in regulated or highly governed environments.
  • Familiarity with broader BI ecosystems such as Power BI.
  • Experience working closely with Enterprise Architecture organizations.

Salary Range:

$110,000 - $207,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
