Join Microsoft’s Edge browser team as a Backend Engineer to contribute to the development of V8, the JavaScript and WebAssembly JIT compiler and execution engine. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with at least 2 years of coding in C++, C, or C#. Preferred candidates have additional experience with data structures, algorithms, compiler technology, and assembly-level programming.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience in C++, C, or C#
Experience coding with C++, C, or C# for at least 3 years (Master’s degree preferred)
Proficiency in working with data structures such as hash tables and binary trees
Knowledge of compiler technology, assembly-level programming, and debugging techniques
Ability to design, develop, test software components using V8 and Chromium-based products
