As a Senior Business Solutions Lead reporting to the VP of Business Solutions, you will support optimization operations, underwriting, and technology across customer and employee journeys by partnering with initiative owners on underwriting transformation efforts. You will work closely with IT and various underwriting leaders to define short- and long-term roadmaps, implement technology-enabled workflows, and provide feedback on IT value generation. The role requires expertise in developing large-scale commercial and specialty underwriting systems like DuckCreek or Guidewire, as well as experience in insurance product definition and transformations. Proficiency in Agile frameworks, process mapping, and Lean principles is essential, along with strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

What you'll do

  • Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders with complex information.
  • Ability to partner across underwriting, technology, and analytics for customer-focused solutions.
  • Familiarity with process mapping, lean principles, and Agile frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of the insurance product lifecycle and ability to work independently.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 5-10 years of relevant experience.
