As an Application Security Engineer at our organization, you will join a dedicated team focused on enhancing the security posture of our Defense Department’s enterprise architecture. Your primary responsibilities include designing and implementing F5 BIG-IP solutions, configuring reverse and forward web proxies for in-line break and inspect operations, and managing TLS and Mutual TLS configurations. You will also support cloud environments both within DoD Cloud and traditional on-premises setups. This role requires a strong background in enterprise security architecture and the ability to travel up to 25% of the time to various locations globally. Essential skills include hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP, web proxy configurations, and troubleshooting TLS issues, along with a Secret clearance and high school diploma or equivalent. Experience with Office 365 applications and DoD cloud environments is beneficial but not required.

What you'll do

What we're looking for
4+ years of experience supporting DoD enterprise architecture.
4+ years of hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP design, implementation, and administration.
Expertise in In-Line Break and Inspect solutions like reverse and forward web proxies.
Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting TLS/Mutual TLS on proxy systems.
Active Secret clearance required.
HS diploma or GED necessary.
