The Longbow Fire Control Radar (FCR) Chief Engineer role within the Rotary Wing Sensors program area requires a seasoned professional to provide technical leadership and ensure project milestones are met on schedule. Reporting to the RWS Chief Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the Precision Strike Sensors team and serve as the primary point of contact for the FCR program and customer community. Your responsibilities include driving technical delivery, partnering with USG customers, guiding inter-disciplinary teams in planning and scheduling, validating staffing needs, and collaborating with Engineering Excellence management to execute milestones successfully. You will lead critical reviews such as Technical Readiness Reviews and Failure Review Boards, document lessons learned, and foster synergy across the Chief Engineer organization. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in steering technical solutions through all development phases and possesses a strong grasp of Full Spectrum Leadership principles. Proficiency with radar systems and familiarity with subcontractor management are highly desired, along with excellent communication skills and a Secret clearance.
