As an AI Solution Engineer at HPE, you will join a dynamic team to architect and deliver AI solutions for customers during the pre-sales stage. Your daily responsibilities include leading technical discussions with prospects, demonstrating AI solutions, and implementing proof-of-concepts that showcase the value of HPE's offerings in combination with third-party components. You will work closely with sales teams and partners to ensure these solutions are scalable for production environments post-sale. The ideal candidate has a background in engineering or computer science and at least four years of experience in machine learning, deep learning, and Kubernetes. Proficiency in Python, Unix-like systems, and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, LangChain, and NVIDIA NeMo is essential. Additionally, you should have knowledge of hardware requirements for AI model training and inference, and be adept at quickly prototyping functionalities into scripts for demos and troubleshooting. This role requires strong communication skills to enable prospects, partners, and internal teams on HPE's AI solutions and their real-world applications.

What you'll do
Lead technical discussions with prospects to propose AI solutions addressing business challenges.
Demonstrate AI solutions to prospects using existing or custom-built demos.
Manage Proof-of-Concept engagements to showcase value from HPE's AI offerings.
Assist in resolving product or technical issues for initial sales or renewals.

What we're looking for
Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
At least 4 years of experience with Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
Proficiency in Kubernetes and the latest LLM frameworks (both open-source and proprietary).
Competence in writing ML code using PyTorch and Python scripting for demos.
Understanding of hardware requirements for deep learning model training and inference.
Knowledge of current AI landscape, including models, frameworks, applications, and capabilities.
Strong communication skills with experience presenting technical solutions to prospects.
