Terms of Service
Effective Date: February 27, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and FindRole ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of the FindRole website, applications, AI-powered matching systems, databases, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions
"User" means any person or entity accessing the Platform, including Candidates and Employers. "Candidate" means an individual seeking employment opportunities. "Employer" means an organization or individual posting jobs or seeking candidates. "Content" includes resumes, profiles, job postings, messages, and any other information submitted to or generated within the Platform. "AI Tools" means automated systems, algorithms, and artificial intelligence used for parsing resumes, analyzing job postings, and generating match scores or recommendations.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. Accounts and Security
Candidates must create an account to upload resumes and use certain features. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are non-transferable. We may suspend or terminate accounts, or restrict access, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we suspect fraud, misuse, or security risk.
4. Nature of Services; No Employment Guarantee
The Platform provides job search, job posting, and AI-powered matching functionality. The Company does not guarantee employment, interviews, job offers, hiring outcomes, or the accuracy/completeness of job postings. The Company is not an employer, staffing agency, or recruiter (unless expressly stated in writing).
5. AI & Automated Processing Disclosure
The Platform uses AI Tools to analyze resumes and job postings and to generate match scores, rankings, recommendations, or alerts. Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or biased and may not reflect a full individualized review. You agree not to rely solely on AI outputs for employment decisions and acknowledge that final decisions rest with Users (including Employers) and/or third parties.
6. Employer Responsibilities
Employers are solely responsible for: (a) the accuracy and legality of their job postings, (b) compliance with all applicable employment, labor, and anti-discrimination laws, (c) verifying candidate qualifications, and (d) their hiring practices. The Company does not independently verify Employers or postings and disclaims liability for fraudulent or unlawful postings.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, harvest, copy, or systematically extract data or Content from the Platform without our express written permission.
- Use bots, crawlers, or automated means to access the Platform except as explicitly permitted by us.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover source code, models, or underlying ideas of the Platform (except to the extent prohibited by law).
- Post false, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, or unlawful Content, or impersonate any person or entity.
- Transmit malware, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with Platform integrity or security.
- Use the Platform to violate any law, regulation, or third-party rights.
8. Fees and Payments
Employers may be charged fees to post jobs or access premium features. Unless otherwise stated, all fees are non-refundable. We may change pricing or features with notice as required by law or contract.
9. Intellectual Property
The Platform and all related intellectual property rights are owned by the Company and/or its licensors. Except for the limited rights expressly granted, no rights are transferred to you. You retain ownership of your Content. You grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, and use Content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Platform and provide the services.
10. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and encrypt sensitive personal information at rest when appropriate. Despite reasonable safeguards, no system can guarantee absolute security.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION. IN ALL CASES, THE COMPANY'S TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID THE COMPANY (IF ANY) IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of the Platform, (b) your Content, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any law or third-party rights.
14. Arbitration Agreement (AAA) and Class Action Waiver
Binding Arbitration. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its applicable rules, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class Action Waiver. You agree that disputes will be brought only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, representative, or consolidated proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any class or representative proceeding.
Federal Arbitration Act. This arbitration agreement is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA).
15. Governing Law
Except where preempted by the FAA, these Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
16. Force Majeure
The Company is not liable for any delay or failure to perform due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, labor disputes, internet or hosting failures, or cyberattacks.
17. Electronic Communications
You consent to receive communications electronically and agree that electronic notices, agreements, disclosures, and other communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
18. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or pose risk to the Platform, Users, or Company.
19. Severability; Survival
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) will survive.
