What you'll do

  • Deploy and maintain VMware ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual machines across multiple sites.
  • Configure and manage core VDI components including connection brokers, gateways, profile management, and load balancing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VMware virtualization technologies, performance bottlenecks, and connectivity problems.
  • Implement and manage VMware networking components such as distributed switches and VLANs.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for virtualization architecture, processes, and procedures.
  • Evaluate and recommend new VMware technologies to enhance system performance and efficiency.

What we're looking for

  • BS degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of experience.
  • Current DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Applicable DoD 8140 or 8570 Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing VMware vSphere infrastructure, including ESXi and vCenter Server.
  • Experience with Omnissa Horizon 7/8, App Volumes, Dynamic Environment Manager, and UAGs.
  • Strong understanding of virtualization concepts, practices, and procedures.
