What you'll do

  • Install and document copper, fiber, power, management, and network cabling according to established standards.
  • Troubleshoot low-complexity infrastructure issues related to hardware, cabling, power, connectivity, labeling, or installation.
  • Maintain accurate records of rack locations, asset tags, serial numbers, cable connections, port mappings, and hardware changes.
  • Support configuration and capacity tracking for rack space, power, network ports, equipment placement, and hardware growth needs.
  • Assist with planning infrastructure work requests, including materials, dependencies, risks, execution steps, and change management requirements.

What we're looking for

  • Experience in data center or enterprise infrastructure support environments.
  • Knowledge of structured cabling standards and practices for fiber optics and copper cabling.
  • Familiarity with incident management, change management, and operational support processes.
  • Understanding of data center networking concepts including VLANs and firewalls.
  • Ability to document and maintain accurate records of hardware and infrastructure configurations.
  • Experience supporting hardware refreshes, decommissioning, and large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • BICSI certification or related data center infrastructure certification preferred.
