As a Senior Software Engineer on Sam's Eligibility & Post Enrichment team, you will architect and develop scalable backend services for complex digital experiences, collaborating closely with product, frontend, data, and UX teams to enhance the customer journey. You will lead technical initiatives, optimize application performance, mentor junior engineers, and ensure high code quality through automated testing and continuous integration. Key responsibilities include implementing secure distributed systems, developing reusable frameworks, troubleshooting production issues, and participating in cross-functional project discovery phases. The role requires hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, JavaScript, Python, NoSQL databases, and cloud technologies like Azure or GCP. You must also have expertise in RESTful services, microservices architecture, and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins and Maven.
