As Senior Manager, Data Science – Strategic Execution, you will work within the Fulfillment Strategy and Optimization team at Walmart to translate multi-year fulfillment strategy into actionable plans and ensure initiatives align with FY27 Customer Value Proposition goals. Your day-to-day responsibilities include partnering with cross-functional teams to support in-year fulfillment initiatives such as peak pop-ups and Same Day FC pilots, translating strategic priorities into execution plans, providing analytical support, establishing feedback loops between execution and strategy teams, and leveraging AI-enabled insights for KPI visibility and performance tracking. The role requires a strong background in data science and fulfillment operations, with the ability to work effectively across matrixed teams and influence without direct ownership. You will use tools like Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks to support operational execution and ensure initiatives stay aligned with strategic goals while fostering a culture of belonging and awareness within Walmart’s fast-paced environment.
