Senior Technical Trainer/Technical Service Engineer

What you'll do

• Develops training programs and materials to support ground-based radar systems.
• Designs and evaluates training courses based on instructional system design principles.
• Conducts formal instructor-led technical training for domestic and international customers.
• Acquires subject knowledge by interviewing experts and reviewing technical documentation.
• Supports the development of technical documentation such as user manuals and procedure guides.
• Coordinates all aspects of training preparation, including classroom setup and lab reservations.
• Provides on-site support in Syracuse and travels internationally to deliver customer training sessions.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 3+ years of professional training development experience.
• Experience developing technical training materials for complex systems (hardware and software).
• Ability to convey complex technical information effectively in writing and verbally.
• Understanding of technical source materials to develop accurate training content.
• Expertise conducting instructor-led training on highly complex technical systems.
• Capability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• Knowledge of ground-based surveillance and counterfire radars preferred.
